All I want for Christmas is You
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is... You
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won't make me happy
With a toy on Christmas day
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you You baby
I won't ask for much this Christmas
I don't even wish for snow
I'm just gonna keep on waiting
Underneath the mistletoe
I won't make a list and send it
To the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won't even stay awake to
Hear those magic reindeers click
'Cause I just want you here tonight
Holding on to me so tight
What more can I do
Baby all I want for Christmas is you
Ooh baby
All the lights are shining
So brightly everywhere
And the sound of children's
Laughter fills the air
And everyone is singing
I hear those sleigh bells ringing
Santa won't you bring me the one I really need
Won't you please bring my baby to me...
Oh I don't want a lot for Christmas
This is all I'm asking for I just want to see my baby
Standing right outside my door
Oh I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
Baby all I want for Christmas is... You
All I want for Christmas is you... baby (repeat and fade)

Jingle Bell.
Jingle Bell
Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh;
O'er the fields we go,
Laughing all the way.
Bells on bobtail ring,
Making spirits bright;
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight.
Oh! jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
Hey! jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh

Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
had a very shiny nose.
And if you ever saw him,
you would even say it glows.
All of the other reindeer
used to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor Rudolph
join in any reindeer games.
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright,
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
Then all the reindeer loved him
as they shouted out with glee,
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer,
you'll go down in history!
Jingle Bell Rock
Jingle Bell Rock
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air.
What a bright time, it's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jingling feet
That's the jingle bell,
That's the jingle bell,
That's the jingle bell rock.

Why wear a Poppy?
"Why wear a Poppy?"
"Please wear a Poppy", the lady said,
And held one forth, but I shook my head,
Then I stopped and watched as she offered them there, 我停下來看著她
And her face was old and lined with care;
But beneath the scars the years had made 在這些年歲的刻痕之下
There remained a smile that refused to fade.
--
A boy came whistling down the street.
Bouncing along on care-free feet.
His smile was full of joy and fun,
"Lady" said he, "may I have one?"
"When she'd pinned it on, he turned to say: 當女士幫他配戴罌粟花的時候, 他轉身問
"Why do we wear a Poppy to-day?"
"The lady smiled in her wistful way 這女士殷切的微笑著
And answered: "This is Remembrance Day",
"And the Poppy there is a symbol for "而罌粟花是一個象徵"
The gallant men who died in the war". "
"And because they did, you and I are free " "因為他們犧牲生命, 所以你和我可以自由的活著"
That's why we wear a Poppy you see".
--
I had a boy about your size,
With golden hair and big blue eyes.
"He loved to play and jump and shout.
Free as a bird, he would race about.
As the years went by, he learned and grew,
And became a man-as you will, too".
"He was fine and strong, with a boyish smile.
But he'd seemed with us such a little while
When war broke out and he went away.
--
I still remember his face that day.
When he smiled at me and said good-bye.
I'll be back soon, Mum, so please don't cry" "
"But the war went on and he had to stay, 但是, 戰爭持續進行, 而他必須待著
And all I could do was wait and pray.
"His letters told of the awful fight 他的來信告訴我那可怕的戰爭
(I can see it still in my dreams at night)
With the tanks and guns and the cruel barbed wire,
And the mines and bullets, the bombs and the fire".
Till at last, at last, the war was won -
And that's why we wear a Poppy, son".

The small boy turned as if to go.
Then said: "Thanks, lady I'm glad to know.
That sure did sound like an awful fight.
But your son - did he come back alright?"
A tear rolled down each faded cheek;
She shook her head, but didn't speak.
--
I slunk away In a sort of shame.
And if you were me, you'd have done the same;
For our thanks, in giving, is oft delayed,
Though our freedom was bought - and thousands paid;
And so, when we see a Poppy worn,
Let us reflect on the burden borne
By those who gave their very all 那些付出一切的人
When asked to answer their country's call
That we at home in peace might live. -
Then wear a Poppy! Remember - and give!
Remembrance Day
In Flanders Filed
By: Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, MD (1872-1918)
In Flanders Filed, the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Banff Springs Hotel
